Out of the Shadows

December 13, 2020 by Diane Greig

From this article in the local Bowen Island newspaper, to listeners around the world. It’s gratifying to see the genuine and cross-cultural interest and enthusiasm in these women’s brave war stories.

It is heartening that people from 60 countries have listened to their acts of courage and their perspectives on espionage. Also, I’m grateful for the lovely comments received.

Melinda from the UK wrote, “A privilege to hear Edie’s story! Edie’s words come powerfully to life…. Wonderful that everyone working on this podcast has brought the women in this series out from the shadows. Looking forward to hearing all their stories.”

From Julie in the US, “These women and their stories are amazing. Thank you for doing this and sharing it with everyone.”

And, from Martine in France, “I hope the book is possible in French because it will be in my purchases.”

Invisible Women has been a collaboration to execute. I am appreciative to those who have listened and joined in to publicise making these courageous women’s narratives visible and in so doing, bringing into consciousness a fuller spectrum of who we are.
