Emily Bett Rickards is an actor and writer from Vancouver, Canada.
She is well known for her seven-season run as Felicity Smoak on the television series Arrow, which garnered her a spot on The Hollywood Reporter’s 50 Favorite Female Characters of All Time, several Teen Choice Awards and Leo Awards nominations.
On the film front, Rickards starred in the recently-released indie dramedy Funny Story, which premiered at the 2018 Slamdance Festival and earned her a nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Feature at the 2018 Southampton Film Festival. Rickards also co-starred in the 2015 Academy Award-nominated feature Brooklyn. In 2018 she returned to stage for the production of Reborning at the Annex Theatre in Vancouver that then travelled to New York for an Off Broadway run a year later.
Rickards is passionate about art that features diverse unheard stories and feels a responsibility to tell them. She is honoured to be a part of Invisible Women which does exactly that.
