Festival of Readers and Writers

It was a lovely weekend on Bowen Island (Aug 7-8, 2021) to celebrate the island’s creative spirit and its local performers and writers of scripts, poetry, novels, and magazines.

The annual Write on Bowen Festival organised by Carol Cram and Jacqueline Massey and supported by the Hearth Arts on Bowen and the Bowen Island Library was held in the spectacular lush gardens of Aubin and David Van Berckel.

Mornings were devoted to creative writing workshops while the afternoons were focused on a variety of excellent writings read by the authors ~ many of whom are professional readers.

It was an honour to participate reading three selections from the Invisible Women episodes.
